Practice Sessions

Come join us at one of our practice sessions and learn how to play taiko! All levels are welcome.
(Children are welcome if accompanied by a parent)

Time: Saturdays, 1pm (until we drop)
Sundays, 2:30pm-5:30pm

Weekday evening practice sessions are held upon request. If you are interested in attending a weekday evening session, please send an email.

Reservations are required in order to join any of our practice sessions. We handle reservations via evite.com. In order to be added to our distribution list on evite, please send an email to info@otatsutaiko.com.

Fees:

Quarterly Fees are $120. This includes all practice sessions held within the quarter. If you join mid-quarter, you pay $12 per session until the next cycle begins. Practice sessions are led by O-Tatsu members on a volunteer basis. Quarterly Fees help pay our rent and equipment maintenance.

What to bring:

• Bachi (sticks) to play taiko. If you do not have a pair, you may purchase at practice
• Loose pants and tshirt. Do NOT wear jeans. It is very uncomfortable to play for 3 hours in jeans
• Water bottle
